Sharia Insurance is a sharia based insurance with ta'awuni and mutual-protection (takafuli) among the Participants through the establishment of a fund of funds (Tabarru 'Fund) which is managed in accordance with sharia principles to deal with certain risks. Here are some definitions in Takaful as follows:
A contract is a written agreement containing a specific agreement, together with the rights and obligations of the parties in accordance with sharia principles.
Akad Tabarru 'is a grant contract in the form of granting of funds from one Participant to Tabarru' Fund for the purpose of helping among Participants, which is not of a nature and not of a commercial nature.
Akad Wakalah bil Ujrah is a Tijarah Agreement authorizing the Company as a representative of the Participant to manage the Tabarru 'Fund and / or Participant's Investment Fund, as authorized or authorized, in exchange for ujrah (fee).
Akad Mudharabah is an agreement to provide revenue sharing on the investment of Tabarru 'Fund.
Contributions are the amount of funds paid by Participants to the Company which will be partly allocated as Tabarru 'contribution and partly as a fee (ujrah) for the Company.
Tabarru 'Fund Dues' is a portion of the contributions paid by Participants which are subsequently incorporated into the Tabarru' Funds' Collection with Akad Tabarru '.
Tabarru 'Fund is a collection of funds derived from the contributions of Participants, whose mechanism of use conforms to the agreed Akad Tabarru' Agreement.
The Underwriting Surplus / Deficit is the excess of / less of the total contributions of Participants to Tabarru 'Fund after deducting the payment of compensation / claims, reinsurance contributions, and technical reserves, within a specified period.
Excellence of Sharia Insurance
1) Transparency of Sharia Fund Participant Fund Management with clear and transparent initial agreement and shariah aqad, tabarru 'funds will be managed professionally by sharia insurance company through sharah investment based on sharia principles.
2) Fund Management of Participants in an Islamic way by avoiding Riba (Flower), Maisir (Judi) and Gharar (Unclear).

3) The existence of Underwriting Surplus Allocation and Distribution

• 50% for Dana Tabarru 'Fund;
• 20% for Participants meeting the criteria;
• 30% for the Company as an operator.
b. Underwriting Surplus will be distributed to Participants no later than 90 calendar days after the calculation is completed.
c. The division of the Underwriting Surplus result shall only be granted to Participants meeting the following conditions:
• Participants never claim in the year of underwriting surplus / deficit calculation.
• Not claiming on the date of calculating surplus / deficit underwriting.
d. If the amount of Underwriting Surplus to be distributed to each Participant is less than Rp50.000, - then the Underwriting Surplus is incorporated into the Tabarru 'Funds collection.
Asei Insurance has several types of Shariah General Assurance products as follows:
1) Sharia Property Insurance
Insurers who indemnify the Insured for damage or loss of insured property caused by fire, lightning strikes, explosions, crashes of aircraft, and smoke arising from insured property fires. Property Insurance includes Fire Insurance and the extension of its warranty (earthquake, storm, flood, typhoon, etc.) as well as the guarantee of loss as a result of business interruption caused by fire.

2) Sharia Engineering Insurance
Engineering Insurance is one form of insurance that provides coverage for the risk of loss or damage to an insured object (usually related to construction, materials, equipment or machinery) during the construction or installation period of any risk of loss or unexpected damage; is sudden and accidental.
Expansion of coverage may be granted against risks of loss or damage to property and physical accidents of a Third Party with the agreed maximum value. Engineering Insurance is divided into 2 (two) major groups, namely: Insurance
Engineering Project and Non-Project Engineering Insurance.
Type of coverage (policy) for Engineering Project, namely:
• Contractor All Risk Insurance (CAR): provides coverage for the risk of loss and / or physical damage to development implementation.
• Erection All Risks Insurance (EAR): provides coverage for the risk of loss and / or damage to machinery at the time of installation or

3) Sharia Cargo Insurance
